Been prescribed biaxin after having outer/middle ear infection for 6 weeks.amoxicillin, sprays & drops have not worked.slightly worried as side effects sound terrifying.would you recommend this antibiotic?

Confusing post: The timeline & lack of named sprays/drops make this post confusing. Both antibiotics mentioned are in common use and rarely have any negative side effects. What you read that is terrifying is not clear. I seldom prescribe Biaxin since there are other meds I prefer but I don't consider it risky. You are welcome to resubmit your post & clarify the issue.
