Abdominal pain : Pain in the lower left part of your abdomen is often related to the descending portion of the colon and rectum. This can be from pouches called diverticuli in the wall of the colon that can get inflamed. Due to other structures in the area like ovary, urinary tract it is important to have your physician see you for an initial evaluation to guide the diagnostic portion of this problem.
