My 15 month old baby has fever for 3 days now, its spiking to 38.9 now and then, on average its 38, we have been using the bullet but it doesnt seem effective. what do we do?

Fever reducers: Appropriate fever reducers for a 15 month old include infant Acetaminophen or infant Ibuprofen (oral solution given with an oral dropper), Follow directions carefully since these medications can still have side effects in one so young. Make sure to give lots of fluids to keep the baby hydrated.

See doctor: I agree with Dr. Kratzberg's advice, but if your baby is not improving and/or not drinking or eating, or is vomiting, please have him/her see a doctor to diagnose the reason for the fever and provide treatment if necessary.
