A member asked:

Is it safe to fly with a thrombosed radial artery due to an angiogram? on aspirin for it and vascular surgeon advises other arteries are compensating well. can it cause any problems if i fly?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hydrate: Just need to make sure you hydrate well for entire flight. Need about 8-16 ounces of water per hour of flight time to maintain hydration during flights. Also get up and walk and stretch at least every 1-2 hrs depending on flight length. Minimal alcohol as that dehydrates.
