Second opinion: It's unlikely that a radial artery bypass would kill you, as most perioperative mortality in vascular surgery is a result of cardiac events and this can be minimized in this setting with regional anesthesia. I would get a second opinion from a board certified vascular surgeon. Check with the society for vascular surgery at www.Vascularweb.Org.
