Ive been experiencing some very painful, almost tingling or electric shock if you will on the left side of my face, that radiates up my head behind the top of my ear. its very onset & absolutely hard to function when it happens?

Pin down diagnosis: You might have trigeminal neuralgia, and indeed, if this is correct, you need MRI to determine why. Alternatively, pain could be due to dental, jaw, or sinus problems. These too need investigation, and in your situation, may see dentist, and neurologist.
