Is there any other test besides a lung ct to look for lung disease without radiation?

Depends: It depends on what disease process is being evaluated. For example, obstructive lung disease can be diagnosed by pulmonary function tests, Pneumonia by sputum culture, some cancers by sputum examination of cancer cells. There are other disorders for which CT is best modality. Your fear of radiation may be overblown, benefit of CT may outweigh the risk. Wish you good health!
