Would 800mg suprax and 1g azithromycin abort syphilis if taken less than 12 hours after possible exposure? i know these are not the cdc recommended treatments, but am wondering if they would prevent the infection if used as a prophylactic treatment?

Antibiotic ?'s: Without confirmation of infection from parasitic/bacterial agents for specific diseases, taking antibiotics blindly for "potential" prophylaxis is not recommended , as resistant organisms may arise which negate the effects of these antibiotics for proven infections.
