Hi. my eye has been twitching for a month and abit itchy. my doctor prescribed fml 0.1 percent he said to use it for a month i just wanted to know if its a safe eye drop to use for that long?

Corticosteroid drops: If corticosteroid eye drops are used for more than a week the patient needs follow-up by the ophthalmologist as the eye pressure should be measured to ensure that pressure isn't rising after a week's use. I'm not sure that these eye drops will stop eyelid twitching unless it's caused by eye irritation. Caffeine, eye strain, eye fatigue,stress are some causes of twitching.
