5year old boy, eyelid swollen and red. started as stye about 3days ago. puss seem to have cleared, but eyelid very swollen. received chloramax from pharmacy, but seems to have worsened overnight?

Though Chloramax for Eyes is used for bacterial eye infection, some Countries discourage the use because of the main ingredient-Chloramphenicol potential side effects. Some suggest Ciprofloxacin Eye drops in its place. That said, the Eyes of a 5 year old are precious and it will be best to take him to an Eye Doctor to make sure he recovers quickly and safely.
