Mri revealed several small less than 2 mm lesions on brain. one larger one at 7 mm. history of daily headaches/dizziness. been hiv+ for 35 years. could there be a connection with lesions and hiv?

Yes, it could be related to HIV, but not necessarily. It could be anywhere from harmless to very dangerous. It's impossible to say anything more on this or any forum or other distant source; it can only be answered accurately by your own doctors, who in turn probably will need to discuss in detail with the radiology department where the MRI was done. HIV history might suggest an explanation, but these kind of lesions can be associated with smoking, prior head trauma, cerebrovascular disease, aging, besides numerous other problems. Essentially, nonspecific and non diagnostic. Have a conference with your doctor and mutually arrive at the next step.
