No False Negative: Neither Turmeric nor Curcumin should interfere with the detection of blood in a urinalysis. A false negative means that blood is not detected even when it is present. Because of how the urinalysis is conducted, blood is detected both by chemical means on a dipstick and by microscopic means by looking for red blood cells in a microscope. Turmeric and Curcumin do not interfere with this.

Agree with Dr. K: Neither of these spices/chemicals would cause a false negative urine test. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
