Viruses: Can cause polyarthralgias or generalized joint pains. Among them, parvovirus b19 is notorious of causing sometimes severe arthritis like symptoms in adults. Would suggest a follow up with your GP in order to have your condition addressed properly.

Virus: Joint pain and stiffness are common with the flu and other viruses including Fifth disease/parvovirus. Acetaminophen and a warm bath can relieve symptoms, but if symptoms, especially fever, continue 3-5 days, please see your doctor.
