Pain w/ menses?'s: Sudden onset of pain with the first day of menses without a prior history of same, at 27 years of age may be secondary to expressing a large clot through a constricted cervical canal. At 27, higher estrogen levels may thicken the lining of the uterus, and when it degenerates at onset of menses, bleeding may be more brisk and clots tend to form. BCP's may be better if this persists.
