A member asked:

These symptoms occur from the day before my menstrual cycle is supposed to begin and lasts about 3-4 days. the symptoms first started in december 2015?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pre-menstrual pain ?: The symptoms described, beginning just prior to menses, are suggestive of endometriosis, where islands of intrauterine cells are activated by the sudden drop in estrogen which occurs just prior to menstruation, causing intraabdominal bleeding which causes the cramping and discomfort. Ask your gyn about low dose bcp's, which will relieve pain, and preserve fertility.
