I have been having a pain on my left side above the hip region. it kind of feels like a side stitch, but worse. i started my menstrual period yesterday morning and the pain started last night. no fever, blood in urine etc.. what could this be?

Ovary: Sounds like a pain in the ovary. It could be a cyst. They often resolve spontaneously after your menses. There are many other possibilities, including low grade infection, intestinal or appendix, urinary tract and hernia, so if it is severe or persistent, get it checked by a gynecologist.
