Can one get hiv from inanimate objects? yesterday got scratched by object at home bled very slightly. my skin is prone to papercuts and some times get papercuts even when shopping outside. hence worried. i am based in usa. anxiety or real risk?

Anxiety: HIV cannot be transmitted from inanimate objects. Superficial skin infections remain possible and wounds should be watched closely until healed.
