I have been having anxiety and fear of contracting hiv.today i was buying mangoes from lady in the market and i noticed she had red sores on the mouth. there was no body contact. but when i reached home i was worried. how can i overcome this anxiety?

You can only get HIV: By sex or body fluids or sharing needles. To reduce worrying go to CDC.gov and read about prevention. If you have it you can also give to your baby. Also check uptodate.com

Counseling: This is a form of germophobia, an obsessive fear of contagion. You need counseling. It won't help to be told (again) you aren't at risk, or hearing all the data proving you cannot catch HIV from such contact. Germophobia can be an early sign of serious mental health disability -- for an example, see "The Aviator", the movie about the Hollywood mogul Howard Hughes (and a great movie). Good luck!
