Unilateral Hair loss: Unilateral hair loss is not consistent with Male Pattern Hair Loss. It is more often related to alopecia, head trauma, autoimmune problems (lupus), circulatory problems or endocrine problems (thyroid). Some medications can also lead to unilateral hair loss such as hormones, antidepressants and antihypertensive meds. Talk to a Dr for a full exam and evaluation.
