Requires exam: If this is an abscess or an infected sebaceous cyst. If an abscess, it must be drained. If it is an infected cysts it must be surgically excised.

Blocked gland?: A sebaceous cyst is a collection of oily fluid that occurs when an oil gland is blocked. Some folks are more prone to them than other and they often appear on the neck, shoulders, and back. Please see your doc who will tell yo if what you have is this or something else. Do not self-diagnose in case it is more serious. Peace and good health
