Took .5mg of lorazepam for about 3 weeks at night for sleep. this was about 6 months ago i didn't taper off. feeling way off, head pressure, and constipation since then. would going back on for a couple weeks then taper make sense to reset my brain?

Best to avoid: Chronic lorazepam results in need for increased dose due to tolerance. But tough to withdraw due to insomnia, anxiety, etc. Would suggest you stay off and work with your doctor

Use other meds: If you haven’t used lorazepam for 6 months, your current symptoms are not related to it, & definitely bestNOT to take it again because it is habit forming. Consult your Dr for other options: possibly herbal agents like valerian, or melatonin, or if lots of stress possibly an SSRI medication like sertraline. Avoid caffeine, heavy exercise, large meals, & excessive screen time late in the day
