I had pain and numbness in my lower back and legs then went to the doctor he gave me neuroton medicine for a month. now i have finished the dose and am having anxiety almost everyday. could this be because i have stopped talking medicine?

Not unusual: Neurontin has distinct sedative and tranquilizing effects, and does have some symptoms of withdrawal on rapid or sudden cessation. You would have done better slowly tapering off. Contact your doctor ASAP and get this revamped

Along with ankylosing spondylitis, I have nerve pain in my leg and opposite hip. My dr gave me neurontin (gabapentin). Does it just numb the nerves.
