Good question: In this day and age, people across the globe worry re. COVID and although you describe a head cold, it never hurts to check whether a PCR viral test may be useful. You see, the signs of a COVID infection can be very nonspecific early on. In my opinion, best to be cautious.

Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6 F (37.5 C), Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.

Wear a mask, stay away from others, practice hand hygiene. Be sure to get tested, if you get symptoms. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital, immediately.
