Many causes: There are many causes of a slight runny nose. Rinse nasal passages with saline, monitor temperature and try to avoid contact with others. The test was negative at the time of texting. COVID symptoms may vary, but most cases involve fatigue and/or fever. Have a flu vaccine, drink fluids and stay well.

COVID 19 testing: Mild nasal congestion is not necessarily caused by COVID 19, thus this doesn't necessarily mean that you had a false negative test. Consider use of nasal saline. If you develop additional symptoms that suggest COVID 19, than suspicion for COVID 19 infection would increase.
