Last night was experiencing heart palpitation episodes with symptoms. this is usual for me but my apple watch ekg picked up an a fib episode. i have never had that come up before, but have suspected it could i be experiencing sporadic a fib episodes?

Palpitations: This is concerning and needs further evaluation. Please see a cardiologist or internist for getting an ekg and a holter monitor for getting a more accurate diagnosis of what kind of rhythm you are getting. You will also need labs to look at thyroid and electrolytes. Atrial fibrillation even episodic can increase the risk for clots and other problems so please get evaluated ASAP.
