Heart rate: Clearly nothing emergent was noted - but that being said you have the Cardiology referral so please go.

Palpitation, high HR: A cardiologist can be very helpful to assess the cause of palpitations and high heart rate. Often a heart monitor such as a holter monitor or event monitor can be worn to evaluate heart rhythm and rate at the exact time of a symptom. Holter monitors are also helpful for maximum, minimum, and average heart rate during a 24 or 48 hr period. High BP in young is unusual and can need special testing.
