Calf cramps: It appears that your calf muscle in that leg is irritable. Absence of swelling and tenderness would make phlebitis unlikely. Do you have obvious varicose veins there which can cause some lower leg congestion? Tightness of the calf muscle may be the problem and stretching the calf daily may help. See your MD as needed.
