A member asked:

Just want to get multiple viewpoints/sources of knowledge from the community: is there any research being done/advancements in the future in reliable treatment of gum papilla black triangles? new techniques or treatments that could work in theory? ty?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: In the periodontal literature there are many articles on this topic. Black triangles, caused by gum recession from malocclusion, overly aggressive hygiene, inflammatory/infective gum disease, etc, have a path to elimination in their early stages. Please see a gum specialist, a Periodontist, for an evaluation.
