Good day my knee popped out of its socket late friday afternoon and a first aider nearby popped it back into its position. i am currently experiencing pain in the knee cap as well as behind the knee going down into my calf area. should i see a doc?

Patella dislocation : Yes, you should see a doctor. An orthopedic surgeon would give you the most information. Sometimes the dislocation can cause a crack in the bone (fracture) or cartilage damage or a loose body. Also swelling in the knee joint after this can limit recovery and may need to be removed. Proper treatment can limit risks for recurrence.
