My son is dating a girl whose 27 y.o. sister recently developed a progressive muscular disorder that behaves like ms but diagnosis is unclear. if my son marries the girl, how high is the risk of her or their children having the same condition?

Hard to know: Without a firm diagnosis it is hard to speculate on a genetic/familial connection. Most of these vague conditions are sporadic in the population & represent an auto-immune disorder. Auto-immune disorders occur at random but more in people with similar tissue types (a genetic issue) but it does not pass on like eye color/stature/etc..
