Pain in the middle of my chest. got answers they say i should go to emergency doctor. does that means hospital or a gp?

Chest pain: Advise evaluating chest pain emergently in the ER . ER is better because they do an , EKG and blood work and imaging to make sure it is not a serious condition, w/chest pain we always consider heart condition or a clot in the lungs. Less serious conditions are reflux due that responds to famotidine, costochondritis inflammation of the rib joints w/pain on touching chest but EKG, blood first.
