See your OBGYN: These stitches need to be removed by your obstetrician if you were instructed to do so. Most of the time the sutures are absorbable and will reabsorb into the tissue after a while. If you do it at home you run the risk of infection and the wound not healing properly. You may try applying an ice pack to your perineum and taking Tylenol/ibuprofen (unless you were told not to) for the discomfort
