Hand trauma 3 days ago. its swollen. xray confirmed no fracture. i've been taking ibuprofen, icing and wrapping with ace bandage at work to get swelling down. now it is stiff. swells the more i use it. hard to keep swelling down. is this a problem?

Common: It is very common to have some persistent swelling and stiffness in the hand and fingers after an injury with normal xrays. Could last few months. Continue elevation, maybe ice and Motrin .
