Possibly TMJ: The temporomandibular joint can often get inflamed and hurt if you chew gum a lot, eat hard things like candies, ice, nuts, or you grind your teeth. It can make opening the mouth difficult and also can feel like you have ear pain. I'd recommend following up with your doc, especially since you're having hearing problems too.

Possible TMD: It is possible you have a TMJ disorder. See a dentist that can diagnose you properly, many times, it is a simple fix with fitting of a custom night guard. Do not buy one from the store, as these will actually exacerbate the issue and make the symptoms worse. If not, the dentist will refer you to either oral surgeon, or ENT specialist. I hope you feel better soon, hang in there!
