I tend to think in my head using words and my inner voice. when my mind is busy i write them down to think clearer. is that seen as hearing voices? and is it a problem? -most people don't seem to do

This is normal: This sounds like an entirely normal way to think and an appropriate way to save your ideas. If these thoughts become so frequent that they interfere with your ability to function in a social, academic or work setting then they could be seen as a problem. Using words in your head is not a problem and would not be classified as hearing voices.

No.: Auditory hallucinations is the actual process of hearing voices sometimes, commanding you to do things ( command hallucinations) or say disparaging comments against you, berating and criticizing or some are voices with ill-defined words and the person who hears them cannot stop or argue with them. Thinking in your head , knowing they are your thoughts , saying them aloud is ok.
