For the past week i have had sensation on the lateral edge of my right foot sole. feels like there is either tape or sand on the outer edge and heel, and feels like something in my shoes/boots. there is no pain, no injury, and no numbness?

Sensation foot/sole: 'Sensation' at the lateral edge of foot/sole: No pain/numbness/injury. Need more information. Occasionally footwear can be causative. Diabetic? Arthritic Other medical issues? Possible nerve impingement, gait/activities, skin conditions, tendonopathy. Not enough information suggests getting a workup by doc
