Normal: A 6 month old baby typically drinks 6-7 ounces of formula every 5-6 hours. My suggestion to you is to Breastfeed first until the baby signals that it is finished by turning his head or unlatching. Then if the baby is still hungry, you can supplement with formula. At 6 months you can also start the baby on rice cereal and pureed vegetables.
