Improve not remove : These scars can be excised but will only be replaced with another scar. Many options exist and will vary depending on the depth, width and severity ofthe scar. Fillers, dermabrasion, needing, resurfacing (laser or mechanical) peels, grafting, revision and many other alternatives should be discussed with an experienced physician and surgeon.
