Scars are permanent!: But the deep or bad ones can be improved by excision, and others can be minimized by chemical peels, dermabrasion, and laser resurfacing. Unfortunately, all scars are permanent and can not be completely eliminated or removed by any technique or surgeon in existence. See an abps-certified plastic surgeon for all the available options.
