Chicken pox scars: A dermatologist may treat these depressed scars by a technique known as punch graft elevation. The scar is subscised, elevated and after it heals it will be smoothed out with dermabrasion. A number of them can be treated in a single session. This is cosmetic surgery and insurance does not usually pay for it.
