Pockmarks: There are many ways to try to get rid of pockmarks in the skin. The sometimes they can be raised or elevated to near invisibility using injectable fillers and other times the fillers are needed during before and after a type laser therapy which can very nicely ablate the site.

Forever Present: A scar forms when there is healing of an injury to the tissues. Remember that with almost all wounds, healing continues for months and months as we change the stress on the tissues. A scar forms as a result and may have many different appearances and colors. Any dark coloration may fade over time but the tissues never are the same and so some scarring will always be there.
