See a Dr ASAP: Tetanus Vaccine is typically updated every 10 years if you have regular medical care. If it has been more than 5 yrs since your last tetanus shot, the Dr may chose to give you a booster in this situation. Tetanus is a serious bacterial infection that causes painful muscle spasms in the jaw and neck resulting in difficulty breathing and can lead to death. See a Dr ASAP.
