Hi. i have noticed that i have gained weight in the past few months. i normally have a high metabolism and has never had a weight problem. i have hypothyroidism,which is controlled.im also on dolin 10 mg for depression.what can be causing the weight?

Talk to your Dr: Other than the normal imbalance of excess caloric intake relative to reduced activity level, there can be other explanations for your weight gain. Age decreases metabolism. Dolin (citalopram) can cause weight gain/loss, as can hypothyroid. Titrating the correct level of thyroid replacement med according to blood levels can resolve this issue. Talk to your Dr for an Exam and to discuss this symptom
