Check your labs: You might ask your doctor to check your thyroid function studies, as your levothyroxin dose may need adjusting. Some people also say they feel better when using other formulations (such as Armour Thyroid or nature-throid). These contain a blend of T4 and T3 (liothyronine) (active form of thyroid hormone). Levothyroxine (synthroid) contains only t4; your body must convert this to T3 (liothyronine) as needed. Discuss w/your doc.
