My husband had piles removed and now a week later he is still suffering with severe pain.. is it normal and should he go back tot he surgeon?

Use stool softeners.As the nerve endings and wound heals the pain gradually improves but if the pain interferes with having a bowel movement or if there is bright red bleeding, your surgeon should see if there is a problem
