None specific: There is no specified direct therapy for the charles bonnet syndrome of visual hallucinations. Often, patients are become depressed and withdrawn with worsened symptoms. Some anti-depressents can help as well as therapy to help patients understand what they are experiencing.

No: Reassurance that this is not an uncommon problem is important. If the patient is very upset about these phenomena, then a psychiatry consult may be warranted.
