ARMD: Armd or age related macular degeneration can only be treated in the wet form and the most common and effective treatment is an injection in the eye. Certain vitamin supplements can slow the progression, see areds study i and ii.

Two types: 1. Dry: areds vitamins, tobacco cessation. 2. Wet: intravitreal injections of anti-vegf molecules like avastin, lucentis, (ranibizumab) or eylea.
