A member asked:

Can the new myosure hysteroscopy to resect uterine polyps be done with out any anaesthesia or dilation? i came across this new procedure online

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hysteroscopy: Hysteroscopy can be done with local anesthetic agents, and/or in women who have had vaginal deliveries without dilation of the cervix. The procedure is best done by a physician who has extensive experience in this area. Call the department of OB/GYN at a University Hospital for a referral to obtain the most reliable results.
