My mom 66 suffer from jaw pain, clicks and popping, she cant chew,pain is just unbearable. what type of doctor must we take her to?

Her GP: Best would be to see her current doc. Symptoms point towards TMJ dysfunction, but an exam and history will be needed. In case a specialist needed, her doc can further coordinate.

TMJ: Your mother seems to have dysfunction of her Temporomandibular joint. Clicking/popping is probably displacement of the cartilaginous disc within the joint. Start with your General Dentist who will either provide treatment or refer you to the appropriate specialist.
