Sensitive Jaw: If I interpreted your post correctly, you've been asymptomatic in that area for two years. Since the area seems to be bothering you now, have it examined.

Sensitive knot: May be swollen lymph node, an indication of infection. Conversely it may be due tone of the myriad other causes of swelling. See your Dentist for an examination.
